Strange driving technique by the Viper. Looks like he anticipated coming into the turn too hot, slammed on the brakes and locked 'em up (must have been a pre-ABS Viper), panicked at the skidding, didn't even attempt to turn left until he skidded into the dirt patch, at which point it was too late to do anything but hang on. All he needed to do was let go of the brake to stop the skidding and negotiate the turn.
Vipers can be crashed rather easily, but usually it is from snap throttle oversteer getting on the gas too soon/hard exiting a turn. |
