That's way sick. $16k? That's an awesome deal if it includes everything. I might have to go and find a S2K with a blown engine.

IMHO it's a supid project that just negated the purpose of what the S2000 was all about. Superior handling. Now it's gonna handle like a pig.

A LS2 would have been a much better choice. Still heavier but alot better choice of the two evils.

The balance is defintely is going to be off but if you change out the rear end (it's currently gonna be way front heavy) I'm willing to bet that you could get it handling pretty decently.

The only way you could even attempt to balance out the car again is to add 250+ pounds of ballast into the rear somewhere.

And you're mostly right. All I'm saying is that you can get it close. Besides, have you ever tried to corner balance one of our cars? It'll scare you how far out from being balanced we actually are.

I suppose. But craming them aft of the rear wheels might not help.

i dont know about doing a 2jz in that rx7. some guys are putting the corvette/camaro ls1 v8. there is a back issue of sport compact car where they did that. MONSTER POWER GAINS. that would be pretty cool to see too. and there are tons of rx7s on ebay w/ blown or no engines.
