Saw an Audi R8 in person.

Went to Vegas this past weekend... nothing special, we own a house over there so we frequently go from L.A to Vegas.

On the way back to L.A, just outside North Las Vegas, I saw a red Audi R8 in the freeway.



Wow, those things look fantastic. What surpriced me the most was the fact that, I thought those things werent even out until mid year!

I would have taken pictures, but I had no camera with me.

I have to give Audi credit for such an amazing vehicle.

I've never been a fan of their line-up's, but the R8 is one car I definately would consider If I had the cash.

You cant even imagine how much better it looks in person.

Im use to seeing exotics daily in L.A, but this thing, man does it stand out compared to the other exotics

Even if I did snap a shot, by the time I would have taken it, it would have been to far away. I was exiting the off-ramp.

I agree, those things are sex on wheels.

I seriously had no idea that they werent even available yet until I got home and did my research; I really thought they were available for about 3 months now.

I should have followed it... taken some pictures, and jammed out

I can't believe those things arent gonna be available until mid-year; that makes me even more angry at the fact that I took my pics...

You should try reading my whole comments

They should be available by mid-year 2007, which is the only reason I started the thread. Seeing one in person as of early 2007 is seemed almost impossible.

LOL, I dont think many G drivers would have good luck racing an r8

Plus, If i saw one, I would rather stare than see it speed away from a "lowly" G

I was just in lost wages a week ago and must have seen the same car. Amazing looking car, red with black side scoops. It's on par with a lambo gallardo, but much cleaner lines.

I just saw 4 fo these last night on the strip in Vegas with European plates. I creamed my pants.

From what I have read online, pricing is rumored to be around $115k US.
