To me the front has a very 'Nissan' flavour to it.....nice.
......and I love that rear.... very sexy. A definite  C.

Now that you mention it, the head on shot looks very 300ZX indeed.

Doesn't look too far off the original -- just more vents. Same old "Lotus Esprit goes to Hollywood for '80s futuristic movie" look.
Not a big fan.
