can the 2007 G35 sedan beat a 2007 Lexus GS350 in a race?

looking at number only, i would assume so.
iirc, gs has a few less ponies and wieghs more. edit:i think itll be a close race.

I think the IS would be more competitive. It weighs about thee same and has a couple pounds more torque. It has more more gear too but I'm not sure how the ratios compare.

I think it would be close with a slight edge to the GS350.
Car and Driver just tested an AWD GS350 at 13.8 in the 1/4 mile. This is the heavier AWD version. The 2WD GS350 should be at least .1-.2 sec faster which is faster than any 07 G35 has been tested. |
