yeah i no i deal with a lot of Sh1t during the day but this forum is a place where we can all b/s about cars and such. and its not like were doin any business here where most of the b/s happens

I can understand where you're comming from, but at the end of the day you can't change a persons opinion or point of view. You will encounter ignorant, selfish @ssholes for the rest of your life and guess what...there is nothing you can do to change that except take the good with the bad. I agree with you OP, that the comment about how you couldn't afford a Bimmer because of your style of typing is a bit harsh, but you should at least make an effort to type properly. It is general internet etiquette. Don't let this bug you, it's just the internet, countless people sh!t on each other everyday, no need for everyone to make a thread about it when they get **** on!

I can read it, but it reminds me of how my 18 year old sister types (STAY AWAY!!).

It is actually SLOWER for me to read all the abbreviations while I try to translate them in my head vs just reading regular written launguage. Does this happen to anyone else?

Maybe it is faster to type but slower to comprehend for the reader.

Or it could be that I am almost 30 (damn that is scary) and I am just not used to it all.

Fact, we don't know each other personally - at least most of us don't - the only way we have to make a determination about you is based upon your ability to communicate via posts. You may not talk that way, but how are we to know that?

I agree about the "short cuts" used as well. Geez, does it really take that long to just type normal words? lol
