OK well I'm going to be getting a new car, due to recent occurences (bitch hit me and most likely totaled my car)

What would you guys buy to replace a 2005 G35 Coupe 6MT? I'd like new, but a low mileage used car isn't being ruled out. Price range is around 35 - 40k

i just took my G coupe in for service and the guys gave me a 07 sedan loaner. that car is a beast man. I have to say it's a great improvement then the current G coupe in terms of EVERYTHING! i have not driven a car with such a responsive engine before. i kid you not, that engine is READY any time you want to push. I suggest you at least test drive it and play with it a bit.
I have to say too that the interior is much better in person than in pictures. Pictures do a poor job showing the aluminum.
im quite impressed with 07 G35 sedan, it's faster than my 6mt and it's auto! Oh i cant wait till the G37 comes out, im thinking it's at least as nice as the sedan!
The other thing you can try is since the new M3 is coming out soon you might be able to get sweet deals on the old M3. if you like neither of the options i gave then you might wanna wait for the S5 (audi) or the bimmer 335.

If I had the money to spend, I'd buy an E46 M3....the car is what I feel the direct upgrade from the G35 along the lines of coupes.

I also like that VQ35HR in the new Z's as well. Those are sweet.

If you had time to wait a little, there are so many new models coming out. The G37, Evo X...the list goes on and on.

with the price range.. you have alot of great options.. give us an idea of what you want/need/must have.

if i were you i'd get a used lotus elise or a used 02 and up c5 z06 (mod it like crazy with the money you save)...the lotus is not practical at all but it's probably going to be my next car...
