Thinking about getting rid of the g

well i had my g35 sedan for about over a year. It a nice car ran beautifully sounds and looks great but college is coming up and i was leaning towards an 00-04ish s2000. I loved the car forever (besides im selfish like to ride by myself) plus im a honda boy at heart had a few hatches back when but yeah. Is this a good move?! i just need your guys input thanks. (oh i know insurance is going to be gay so yeah =o)

also i heard there were some recalls on the 00-01 years. is it safe just to go for a newer year?

^^^i know and mines is auto. I really love the s2000 (girlfriend hates it) but oh well im young and i want to stun all i care about lol

The S2k is an awesome car. If you want it, go for it. Just remember you need to rev the piss out of it to get the power.

I am also a Honda guy, I have the G35x and a Honda Prelude w/ 4WS. I really enjoy cruising in the lude over the G. The G has stunning looks and I love the front end of the car...but it's just lacking to me...this is just my opinion...maybe interior or handling...

Go for it. It wont be much faster than a g. My roomate has a 2000 s2000 with a cold air intake and a full cat back, and my 06 6mt runs right next to him. Also the s2k will be a rough ride compared to the g.

get the 04+ because the front end looks alot better. i wanted a s2k but i have a baby and she is now stunning in the back seat of my G.

lol, the G is an entry level sport LUXURY car... it's not meant to have gobs of power... you should have known that before you bought the car.

You will get used to any amount of power you have. Even if you drive a 400 hp car you'll get used to it and keep wanting more if you drive it everyday. The G is faster than probably 80% of the cars on the road and in most circumstances you cant even utilize it's power.

lol sorry guys but the s2k anit gonna happen. Just came by a dc2 shell, everything without a motor for 700$. Think its time for a k20 teg? lol let the project begin probably picking it up sometime next week. Thanks guys for the comments

had a couple hatches back when? just starting college? 18 means you've been driving like 2 years? when was back then?
