Anyone looking at the EVO X as their next car?

Because I am . I sold the G coupe a few weeks ago, so sad to see it go since its summer time, damn I miss driving it...o well =/

Put down deposit at the nearest dealership. Dealer told me that there will be about 350 evo coming to Canada for the first shipment and it will be around 40-50k CND...they also told me it should be here at around January. Oh god I hope not!

Now driving a 1999 civic, damn good on gas!

But i still think the evo9 looks classic EVOLUTION..

The majority of the evo owners hate the new look, however, they overlook the fact that it ll perform better than evo 9, hence the name evolution

I doubt many G35 drivers will be going from a G35 to an EVO, unless the EVO was an addition to their list, not a replacement.

But in your case, it makes sense. You stated your moving into a snowy location. RWD [G35] in snow... not a good mix. AWD [EVO] in snow, much safer, and possibly funner.

I think the new EVO looks nice. I have mixed feeling about it; I like the looks, and I don't. I just can't figure out what it is. Maybe the looks have soften up a little bit, or maybe it reminds me of another car that it should not resemble. Who knows?

i considered it but its not going to be released anytime soon and im switching cars VERY soon(1month-2months)

I agree, doubt many g35 coupe drivers will be looking at evo. Most evo owners are die hard performance junkies, its all about performance and cheap upgrades, comfort and looks probably comes last. While G drivers value looks and comfort much more. I am looking at Evo because of practicality! and since its the first generation of evo coming to Canada, it will be something fresh!

I agree the new evo looks nice. I too have mix feelings about, especially the rear end of it, personally I think it looks HIDEOUS! but i can over look it since evo X is so much more than just looks.

Haha, Evo has always been a car I wanted. I am definitely not replacing the G35 coupe with the EVO, imo, nothing can replace the G35 coupe I had, a lot of memorial events happened in that car. I guess I just want to try something new, and like you pointed out, i need something that can handle snow!
