Which Car to Buy....

I know theres lots of posts on this car but I thought this question was sorta different then other threads so I started a new one.


My brothers is getting a car soon and hes more or less set on an lexus IS. I just got my 2006 6MT G35, and I really love the MT a lot and I know my brother would also enjoy driving it. He likes the performance of cars but really wants the luxury appeal the Lexus has. Soo question is

Does he get an IS350 6AT, I think its like 304 HP or something, which from what I've read in other threads performs pretty well in comparison to the G

or a IS250 6MT with 200 HP, which I'm not sure could keep up with the G...Its not so much a race between us, just both of us wanted cars that performed the same, and were just as nice.

I figured if he got the 6AT, when I went on long drives or drives where I would be stuck in traffic I could take his car, and when he wanted to go cruisin or hang out with friends and felt like driving stick he could take mine, so we both get the best of both worlds.

I threw some other ideas at him such as the Z, Charger and some others I dont rmr but he didn't like any of them.

So ya what would you do if you had to choose? Or would you choose a completely different car? Keep in mind he wants luxury and performance in one but I already own the perfect luxury performance car

How about the G35S sedan? It performs well, and just about everyone says that it's faster than the IS250, and better than the IS350. Didn't test drive either of them when buying our G, but the new G sedan looks better and has a much nicer interior IMO.

Let him get the IS250. That way, if he gets uppity with you, you can spank his butt with your G.
