Entry Level Exotic

Would the Aston Martin Vantage be considered an Entry Level Exotic car?

In your eyes what makes something exotic.

Thanks

I consider the Elise/Exige an entry-level exotic, just because of their local rarity. I've seen Modena's, plenty of lambos, Maseratti's, Bentley's, and even a couple of Maybach's parked outside my office building. But I have never seen an Elise/Exige in the Birmingham metro area.

Agreed. IMHO being an "exotic" is not 100% about price. Rarity should count also.

Ok so we are going to say it really comes down to where you live, which is possible for any car.
I have a feeling if i bought a Vantage, i'd go over to the Aston Forums and have people talking about how 'cheap' of a car it is.

Yes the db9 looks great but it's obviously more money.

So i guess i asked a really relative or subjective question. Thanks for all input and the price i was thinking exotic would fall in 100-150 price range. With the 150 ish range getting pretty pricey.

+1 on the lotus. i saw a bunch down around san jose when i lived there but they are still exotic (very limited run, very niche car) imo.

I guess i also think the Vantage looks pretty tame driving down the road and not flashy like the carerra

Also my friends Dad has a Elise that he only takes to the track. I havent driven the car, but it just does not fit my taste
