45K is a bit optimistic .... more like 55K estimate (from Factory Five site for a 'turnkey' solution - you can get it for as little as 25K if you supply a C5 'vette chassis with a 911 transaxle.) Otherwise, if they supply the chassis, engine, and drivetrain, the estimate is that the car will START at 55K. There are lots of options - basically you can customize the car to your pleasure. It's still a STEAL at that price - this car will fly, and judging from the performance of past turnkeys and kits, it will also handle well.

That's the good news .... the bad news is ....

Good luck in getting your hands on one - Factory Five already has quite a few followers who will be given priority in buying up the few they make per year. I expect some of these to start showing up on Ebay and they will sell for much higher prices.

I agree - this is a beautiful supercar at very non-supercar price. My only very small quibble is the wing - but since this car will often be bought for racing (that's what I would do with it!) a big wing actually makes sense.

The GTM 200 (the name of this beauty) will be available later this year.
