Anyone else in this boat? Holding off until the 135 is revealed?

Think 200lb less than the 335 but with the same engine

I am not sold on its styling- but it's ok.
Performance should be hot though

Isn't that the hatch? The hatch is not coming to the U.S. The coupe is.

Are we sure the weight will be less? I think the smaller engined 118d in europe is already something like 3100 or more pounds. Once they have to improve the car for crash safety to meet US standards and add the 3.0 twin turbo - I wouldn't be surprised if this thing is close to the 335 weight.

I'm sure you have noticed this, but there are alot of people on this forum that are obsessed with 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, even at the sacrifice of everything else (comfort, technology, reliability, and sometimes even looks).

That's quite true.

That being said, I'll give the 135 a fair shake. I want to see one in person, and then make a call. The plus is that you get the 335 performance in a potentially lighter car and for maybe 5k less.

I think that it is the best styling that BMW has come up with lately. But the interior still lacks appeal. It seems outdated compared to the G. Also, with a price somewhere around 31K, wtf? Now they are trying to compete with Infiniti with a lower price tag but they are going too low and are still lacking in quality. Now they are making this one to be more affordable so everyone can have a Bimmer. I thought that is what set them apart as a luxury automaker; not for the average consumer.
