I guess the design of the eclipse wouls have to grow on me too.. Like you said: The G has raised the bar and now others are having to step up to the plate.

Oh BTW the mustang should read 300 HP as opposed to 30.. I'm sure you all realize that though.

The V6 will start under $20K, not the GT. I don't consider it anymore competition than the current mustang. It does have cooler styling, but despite the modern DEW platform; gone are the dual a-arms from and rear. Instead, they are once again cursed by struts and just lower control arms in front and a solid rear axle. As one good note, the traditional fox body 4-link setup that goes all the way back to 1979 is gone. The new setup matches what the F-bodies were using back in 1982. It is good to see they are progressing...slowly.

I don't understand why everyone is making such a deal about the Mustang. The GTO is more inline with us. It does have significantly more power, but a dual a-arm front suspension and independent rear.

the hyundai is GROSS and so is the mitsu.... i mean one i can kinda see it has some brembos, or just painted brakes. I think pretty soon everyone is going to throw brembos on their cars. Man they are going to make brembos loose the novelty feel. this sucks.

The mustang is cool, i mean it HAS to out performe us! i mean i hate FORD, but....it looks cool, kinda like the old fast backs.

To me all these car makers are junk... but that is because they have only been putting out junk in the last 10 years. Except the EVO 8, i can respect that!

so i think that if that new hyundai comes out, it is going to barely out perform the tiburon....IF it even does!

I'm not sure, but I believe the hyundai and mitsu are just concept cars.

cars are becoming like computers (close anyway)....you buy one, and within a few months it's not up to par anymore. that's just how it is. that's why i say, LEASE if you can afford it and always want something new.

on the outside, the hyundai looks nice, but I wonder about it's quality and durability.

I don't think we have to worry too much about the Hyundai. Aside from comparing looks and engine power, there's braking, comfort, quietness, and of course reliability.

I think the Hyundai, is more concept than fact that it is going to be built...but if there is enough demand for it, they will build it and people will buy it. Im guessing it going to be under those lines of the car...but im guessing that there has to to be parts of the body removable in case of an accident.....if you take a look at the pic there is no lines that seperate the bumper or the front bumper from the body of the car. Just a thought....and the 3.8liter Eclipse is gross......i have to say my favorite style for the Eclipse's has to be the second gen...but performance wise first gen.
