So it's out now, just curious if you think we'll start seeing rebadged Altima's with Infiniti badges.

Haven't seen one in person, but I have to admit I'm a little annoyed at how close to the G35 the side profile is. Why? I don't know, it just annoys me.

i've seen one a couple weeks ago and honestly it doens't really look like a G, yea it has similar lines but it doesn't have that sex appeal the G has. So all you people worried about it wait till you see one in person, you have nothing to worry about. The altima couple looks like a cross between the G and a pontiac 6 series

If it helps nissan/infiniti sell more of those cars and help the Co. get stronger financially........that helps future infiniti products. Stronger companys lead to better, more competitive products.

Why would anyone ever think of doing this? People rebadge an Infiniti G35 to a Nissan 350GT because it essentially is the same exact vehicle in Japan.

People also rebadge a Nissan 350Z to a Nissan Fairlady because its essentially the same car.

Why would anyone rebadge an Altima Coupe to an Infiniti when it has NO shared characteristics in term of platform and drivetrain with the Infiniti G35?

I think it would actually make more sense to rebadge a 350Z into an Infiniti... only because it shares more with the Z than it does with an Altima. Good thing they don't rebadge the Z's into Infiniti's

Rebadging an ALTIMA to a G35 would be like rebadging a Nissan Maxima into an Infiniti M45... or a Toyota Solara into a Lexus SC430.

No one is going to do this, unless some extreme ricer gets a hold of it. If someone rebadged an Mustang into a "GT-R", nothing is this world will surprice me

I never saw IS350 owners sell their IS because of the 2007 Camry.

The Altima Coupe is a completely different platforum to the G35/350Z just as the IS350 is a completely different platform to the Camry.

Nissan put this coupe together to match other cars from Honda and Toyota.
WTF it a FWD and can't be compared to the G or Z cars even thought it's
shape is similar to other coupes on the market.

+10000 I saw a red one drive by the other day. It looks absolutely nothing like the G IMO.

Yeah, I have no idea why anyone would do it, but considering how similar they seem to look (haven't seen the Altima coupe in person yet) it just seems like something that someone out there will do.

Altima coupe looks fugly as hell.

You might mistake it from far out but once you up close is frigging UGLY.

i seen one yesterday....it appeared to be almost a DG color.....it has the wider hips(rear) just like the new g37 and has the taillights that are similar to a scion TC. it did look like a g35, somewhat. but im not worried about it
