It seems that what killed off the Supra in the first place was that it started becoming more unaffordable. They don't want to do a copy-cat and re-introduce the Supra as affordable sports car like Nissan did with the Z. I'd say ABQ is right and they'll improve the performance of the Celica and do the Celica as a performance RWD.

I just hope that Mazda brings out the next evolution of the RX-7...I was really hoping for another Supra but as I'm not on the board of Toyota I suppose it's not my decision- damn!

RX-8 sales are almost on target (but price dropped quicker than I expected). About 12k units for 2003 (August onwards), aiming for 30k units this year.

RX-8 is a 4 seater and 4-door vehicle (like other Rotary eXperiments before it such as the RX-2, RX-3 etc). The next RX-7 FE will be a 2-door, 2-seat vehicle (possibly with convertible option) and much less weight than the RX-8 (under 2800lbs) and supposedly with 300hp or more. I can't wait...

Hi all,
Compete agains G's is very difficult job. By now, likes Acura does with the TL (except for the FWD); car makers are wondering how Infiniti/Nissan make a damn good car for that price. We know that Infiniti can sold the car for 40k's in the US, but not... they want the market, and a lot of Infiniti badge around the streets. Now, everybody knows infiniti and beats that in the next 2 years will be hard. If infiniti likes nissan continue with the excelent trend up to day, will be number 1 in the next years. Just looks the models, fresh, sporty and fun.
