Trading in the G for a Z4 Coupe

Looks like I will be trading in my '03 G35 Sedan for a new Z4 Coupe! I love the G35, and wouldn't mind keeping it for another year or two, but how can I pass up a Z4? The other thing that I really like is the fact that BMW pays for everything up till 50K miles.

Personally, I wouldn't trade the G for a Z4 unless it has an ///M Badge

Goodluck. Have fun with your new toy

Z4 Coupe!? Why? Go for the roadster unless you plan to track it all the time or has Vampire disease that makes you vulnerable to the sun.

Doesn't the Z4 Coupe come with the M badge? I think that's the only model available in Canada anyways, the M Coupe.

I wouldn't drive any Z unless it had an M badge. I might seem like a BMW fanboy, but if it don't say ///M I want nothing to do with it.

I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic

LOL. I can't tell if you're being sarcastic either, lol. However, I'm the same way. If bought the Z4, I'd be thinking, the entire time, about how I could have saved up for the Z4M Coupe and had a much better time.

To the OP: Do enjoy your new Z4 Coupe. Please post some pics when you get the chance. I haven't seen any Z4 coupes in my neck of the woods.

Totally serious, with the exception of the 135i. Even that could be a much better car. I'm not a fan of luxo-boats. I do realize that most M's are pretty heavy, but they do such a good job of hiding it from the driver. Honestly my ideal car would be an E30 M3 EVO with the 260 hp euro engine. Talk about a tossable car!

FORGET THE Z4!!!!

I just drove the new Audi TT Coupe! OMG!!! The experience you get while driving that car is really indescribable! I have never driven a car and had goose bumps and my heart rate high the entire time! It has about the same 0-60mph time as the G35, but the power band is huge, the down shifting is intoxicating, and the handling is just as good as a Corvette!

I called the BMW salesperson to see if I could get an extended test drive, and they said no since I'm under 21. A little stuck up, huh? Like I'm going to spend that much money and not know what the car is capable of!

LOL! Take a deep breath and test drive everything out there (of course that is if they let you ) and then decide which direction you want to head in. Buyer's remorse sucks and best to stay away from it.

Correct in the Coupe; Z4 comes in roadster too with or without the M badge. It's such a low volume car.
