Sublime Dodge Charger Daytona R/T

I am typically not a fan of Dodge styling whatsoever. I think the Magnum is one of the worst looking cars on the road, and the Calibur and Nitro aren't that far behind. The Charger on the other hand, I think looks great.

I actually really like the looks of this Sublime Daytona R/T, and this color I find is definitely nostalgic. I honestly don't care for the interior all that much, but I don't think Dodge will have any problems selling the 150 Sublime Daytona models here in Canada. Here are a few pics below. The article and additional pictures can be found here.

I really like the 300 and SRT-8 versions. I sorta like the Magnum wagon also. It's that too many rapper wannabes put 90" chome wheels on them and ruin it.

I like the Charger as it's a 4 door and looks to have decent room. Although some say a 4 door Charger is nuts, it would allow me to potentially own this car. What does the Charger weigh? Everything else RWD with this chassis under it weighs damn near 4,000 lbs!

Can't say I'm a fan of the retro colors and stripes though. Give me a SRT-8 version in black please. hehe

We have a new SRT8 in red, lots of room, drives great, very comfortable. What is the difference between the SRT8 and the Daytona? Besides cosmetics of course. Is it the engine? We have the 6.1 hemi in ours. I love driving it.

I have a black Charger SRT8 and I have to say, it's the best car Ive owned, and also the most fun. It is fast, comfortable, and way roomier than the G. I've had mine for 18 months, and I can't wait to drive it every day.

The difference between the R/T (5.7) and the SRT (6.1) goes beyond the engine and power. The suspension, wheels, brakes, and other things are upgraded. That's not to say the R/T is not a good deal, cause it is.

The most enjoyable everyday benefit for me is torque. Effortless power at any rpm that you can't get with any V6. And I get better gas mileage than with the X to boot.

If you like the green color scheme, go for it!!

I have a black Charger SRT8

DP03, Don't you just love it! My husband is like a kid when he gets in it, he loves the onramps! I drove it to work the other day and I love it. I'm lucky enough to have both my G35 coupe and the Charger SRT8 but it's wierd going from one to the other. The mileage is very close, I took the Charger on a trip and got 18, in the G I can get 20 on a trip. Everyday driving I get 18-19 in the G. It is amazing how fast the Charger is for a 4-door car. And it looks Cool!

Yup, I actually got better mileage with the SRT....the G35X gets horrendous mileage for some reason.

I've only had the SRT to the track once stock. 13.10 at 107. Most modded G's would love that time, let alone stock ones. The performance difference between these two cars is huge.

I agree. I've yet to find anything intriguing looks-wise from an American maker. with that said, the Challenger should be one hell of unusual exception.

You've got to be kidding, right? You don't like the 300C? The new Mustang? The Pontiac Solstace?

The G is a sleek car, but nothing unusual.

Nice package, Shane.. I like too....
It's odd to see the nostalgic colour in a modern package....

I could definitely be persuaded.....

Not. Jap cars are cool in some forms. The G is getting long in the tooth, IMO.

I have received more comments at lights with the SRT than any car in my life, and I've had many. Not one with the G. It's simpy an ordinary, average sedan, that's very average in performance. Period. Not a show car.

Deal with it dude. Don't hate the flashier, faster, cars.....

Charger looks like crap, period. Flashy? Chrysler's products are the ugliest on the road. That's one reason why their sales are in the toilet and Daimler dropped them like a hot potato. LOL! You won't get any comments with your G Sedan. Huge difference between the previous generation Sedan and the '03-'07 G Coupe.
