Grand Vitara shift issue- HELP!

This is regarding my other car:
I took our Grand Vitara in for the recall on the throttle cable. After the service the car shifts too early
(@ 4000 RPM)when at full throttle, and it doesn't downshift when it is supposed to either. Could this issue be related to the other issue? Could something have been disrupted with the swa of the cables?

[EDIT: Changed the title to make the right people read it -Geo]

If you don't get a reply here, there's this Suzuki forum that might be more helpful: ZukiWorld Forum

Another place to look would be Edmund's TownHall. townhall.edmunds.com They have individual discussions for all makes and models, and a rather large community.
