Z06

I got to drive an 07 Z06 today. My M5 now seems a little sluggish. Actually, everything I have ever driven now seem a little sluggish. This thing pulled like nothing I have ever driven before. There is not likely many cars that would give this thing a run. I was in a Gallardo a couple weeks back and this Z06 would make mince meat out of it. Hands down the most bang for the buck out there. Handled nice to, braked incredible. What a car!

I gotta get me one of these.

Where's terryw?! haha.

What's the Z06 rated at now? 450hp? That w/ a near 3,000lb curb weight makes for one nasty ride!

What does the M5 weigh? 3900 or so?

Its at 505hp, not 450. The 2008 C6 w/ the LS3 is rated at 436.

Definately best bang for the buck performance wise! I would love me one of those (only as a toy though, not daily)

Not sure, but it looks like the guy in the Z06 is shifting too early

My guess is he was either in the wrong gear to start or shifted too soon. There is no way the Lambo would pull on the Z06. Of this I am now absolutely certain. The Z06 pulls right out of the hole and doesn't quit.

What is frightening is that Chev thinks it needs more and is talking about adding 100+ h.p. for a special edition. My oh my!

Gallardo and the z06 are not to far behind each other. One of my bosses buddies is standing here and his gallardo is in the parking lot right now...he also has a z06 - he said the z06 has a slight edge, but not by very much.

My Uncle's got a 2006 z06. Closest thing to an F-16 without wings.

I guess if going fast is all you really care about than...well get a z06. but if you want luxury and quality materials (as i do) then id get an m5 or gallardo. I'd rather come in last place in an m5 than first place in a z06.

If going fast was all i cared about i wouldnt have bought a g35, i wouldve bought a dodge neon srt4....pay less and faster..

hmm lets see gallardo or z06... reall tough choice

M5 or z06...hmm again...tough choice

I'd drive one. No question about it, and I'm not really a fan of the 'vette.
