Goodbye G, Hello M3 and Si

Well ladies and gentleman.

The time has come to get rid/trade the G. A few of you might know the plans I had and the reasons for them.

Today, I ended up buying an 05 ///M3 with 29k miles for $45k. Carbon black on black interior.

I figured I was almost at the 335i price range and thought I'd pull the trigger on the M3

Pics to come until Tuesday at the very earliest. I'll be out of town until Monday afternoon.

and noooo, I'll still be on Driver like my usual self.

Seriously, congratulations man! I think it's hard to pass on the ///M3 even with the 335i in sight.

You had one of the fastest NA VQ35's. Now, its time to go to the drag strip again to test that baby out!

So, when am I going to have the owners and get smoked by you.... for the 1000th time. Except this time, with an M3

traded the G with my brother for his 07 Si. Plans were to trade next year in Sept. when my lease was over, but he wanted the G already so why not? And besides, my bro was going to take the G tomorrow morning, even if I didn't have the 335 or in this case the M3 lol

I had test driven the M3 about a year and a half ago and had forgotten how quick that thing was! test drove it today and maaaaaan, I was hooked once again!

I'm sure I'll be taking the M to the track very soon, but not sure if I should take the G or the M to Cali Speedway in November, we'll see.

dude, it was either that, or a silver 04 M3. looks so weak! If it looked like the DG, I would of been all over it! lol

but yea, all those times I kept saying I wasn't getting another black car.. I guess it came back to me lol

Whatever happened to the No Black Car, Must be Turbo from Factory rule you had?

Can't blame you man, I love those M3's. They can be visually modded so tastefully.

In regards to Cal Speedway, I say take the G one last time. You did very low 14's in scorching 104-degree heat without the headers/cats & tune (?). With this colder fall whether, I'd be anxious to see how a fully NA G does in Cal Speedway. You would break those 13's... something not common in Cali! That's just me though.

LMAO! one of the reasons I was iffy on the car, cuz it was black and non-turbo! lol But well, it's done already. No turning back or maybe there is? lol

And you're right! I'll take the G in November. Funny, cuz I did an agreement with my bro telling him he can have the G 2 weeks early if he lets me take the G on 1 last dyno day and 1 last track day lol

So an 05 m3 is > 335i? i woulda gone with a new 335i tt. but what ever keeps em floating for u. Gl with the m3 and IS.

If you're into pushing the car, tracking it, etc, the M3 is the right choice. IMO, you can't replace that the ///M.

I'm sure the 335i is a better DD and has more potential for more additional power...

But hey, that's the fun of NA; you can always SC or TT it

M3= Track car that can be used DD
335i= DD Street car... with alot of power
