2007 lexus is350 vs 2007 infiniti g35 sedan? which one?

ok i currently drive a 1999 lexus gs400..and posted this same question on the lexus forum..and it was nice not to get any bias opionin..many of them gave me pros and cons of each car..and gave their vote..so i am going to ask the same question on this forum..since u guys should be more educated on the g35 since it is a g35 fourm..

im planing on getting a new car..and i am stuck between the
2007 lexus is350 and the 2007 infiniti g35 sedan..can u guys give me pros and cons for both? and which did u choose? and if u had the same trouble..what made u pick the infiniti over the lexus..or vice versa..thanks

I think is a matter of preference with these cars. I bought mine 2 months ago and I was looking between IS250 , G35, and BMW and I went with the G. I just like it better for the price. two months and I love the car so far

I looked at the IS350 as well as the G (along with a 335i). Heres what I thought:

Pros: IMO best looking car of the trio, exterior wise. Nice performance.

Cons: Suspension too soft (wanted something that had sporty handling, the Lexus felt the worst out of the three), bland interior, no XM Live Traffic Update

Can't go wrong with the IS, but if you're looking for sporty, firm suspension for spirited driving, then look elsewhere.

G35 Because: It is a better drivers car, Better Handling, steering responce. I drive my cousins IS350 all the time and can NOT stand that steering feedback on that car. Suspension is surprisingly hard but the handling is NOT there. And laslty u have the option for the 6MT.

IS350 Because: It is little bit faster on the strait line, Navigation that no car navi can touch, I personally think it looks better. But if u have 4 people over 5'6" sitting in the car good luck.

Lancers are for idiots who like to hang out in parking lots and compare the size of their turbos like its cool.

Newsflash: A large proportion of people think people like you are idiots. Put down Forza and issues of Import Tuning and grow up.

where did this douche bag come from?

I've only driven the 07 G35 for a day, and I must say, I like it. Interior and exterior looks good! Handling wise, felt smooth and not too soft. Performance wise, pretty quick for being stock, just as fast as my previous 05 Coupe.

Lexus: looks sexy inside and out. Performance wise is quite a bit faster on the straight line. I've seen it in action and I'm quite impressed! Haven't driven it but only hope to within a year.

If money is no issue, just go out and rent both of them for a day and get a feel for them.

good luck! I haven't voted since I'm stuck between the two lol

IS will cost more for the same setup. No XM Traffic. Both awesome cars.

IMO, G35 any day ..... the IS350 has to offer a manual tranny to be in consideration.
