2009 Mazda 6

What are your opinions on the new Mazda6? Im in the mood for a new car and dont know if I should wait for this one to come out or get something else. In my opinion it looks better than accord, camry, fusion, aura...etc. rumor is it will have mazdas new 3.5 liter v6 like in the cx-9 around 260 something horses. There is also rumor that it will come with optional awd system.

the american version will be slightly different...front/rear bumpers, taillights, side markers...etc. All to meet U.S. specs. Apparently the U.S. version will unviel at the l.a. auto show next month from what Im told. Im either going to buy a 06 mazdaspeed6 or this car...tough choice.

Just a minor thing, why is the arm rest handle on the passenger side placed like that. The positioning of it and the window button doesn't seem very ergonomic. Also a thing for myself, I don't like it when they use different vent styles for the center and side.
Otherwise, a decent looking a car. Don't see many mazda6s in my area though, but mazda3 is king.

I think passenger door handle is to give passenger to grip something. Handle above the door somewhat obscures drivers' view. Driver doesn't need this grip, because he has steering wheel to hold on to. Yeah, window switch would be better in front of the handle.

I am also some what surprise that the Mazda6 is not very common in my area.
I find it more sporty and fun to drive than the Camry and Accord. The sportiness carries over to the exterior and interior. It is also very reasonably priced in comparison. If I am in the market for a mid-priced sedan, I would choose the Mazda6 over the all too common and bland Camry and Accord.

The new Mazada6 is definitely a looker.
The instrumentation/data pod of the new Mazda6 looks like the 05/06 G35's.

Too bad US market is going to kill the look of the sick headlights and taillights by putting amber in them.
