G35 to Civic si sedan

Well guys, I need 4 doors and it looks like the si sedan will be the choice. I really don't want to sell my G but it just sits in my garage looking very very nice. Drive 3 times a week to work and use the wife's accord the other 4 days. I'll probably put it up for sale when I return from vacation to Colombia in late jan...I'll give you guys first crack at it before I "de-mod' it and if no luck selling it with all the mods i'll part em out and just trade it in....The mods are in my sig....

I had to trade my G Coupe when my son was born cuz I wanted the 4-doors too so I went with the G Sedan and it was probably the best decision I made.... Why not go with the G Sedan instead? Granted, if I never owned a G35 then the Civic Si Sedan is pretty attractive but how can you go from your G to the Si Sedan? Just asking bro, not bagging on your decision.

You are going to be crying on the day you sell that car!!!

I almost teared up when I was giving up my 2004 coupe.

After a few weeks, I was missing it a lot.

So, a year and a half later, I HAD to pick up another one...this time a 2005

If you only have one kid, you can get along with putting a baby seat in the coupe.

I remember when I needed a four door car too, so I went out and bought an RX-8. Then when my daughter was bigger I sold it and got the G coupe.

Anyways the Si looks fun to drive, good luck

You'd be better off just buying a 4 door Si, and then doing a Mugen conversion. It'll be cheaper in the long run. www.8thcivic.com has a few people who've done it.

Yeah, get a g sedan. Going in that direction to an si you will definitely notice a difference in getting on and off a highway.

If you're looking for something similar to the G but a lot cheaper, look at the 2005-06 Altima SE R. Same VQ35 DE engine as the 03/04 G and has most of the same options but is much cheaper. It's front wheel drive but still a blast to drive and is just as fast (the 6 MT anyway). I bought a very low mileage, mint condition SE R for 20 CDN. Good luck.
