Loaded G or Base M35?

Gents, my company is going to buy me a car. I can spend $40k. I am currently driving a '05 G35 sedan (had the first generation w doggy door prior) and am a huge G fan.

But I'm tempted to buy a Base M instead. Like the idea of a bigger car, status, etc. Of course, with $40k, I could get virtually every option possible on the G.

Can u help me make my decision? Please let me now what u would do.

BTW, I can't stand the idea of giving up my Sirius for XM. Wife has XM in her MDX, and I much prefer Sirius.

Thanks in advance for the help.

dayum, what company do you work for and are they hiring? lol

but it depends on your preference dood,
for the price,
the M35 is bigger, more room
the G35 is faster, sportier, more agile

Let me give you me resume for that company you work for

The G35 & M35 are two different personalities. It should be easy to choose between them based on your priorities & preference.

loaded G. You can drive a G with everything, or a stripped down M35 (not even 45) and look like someone that drives a stripped down, larger car, purely for status...

....in my opinion, of course

I'd go with a FULLY LOADED G35.

I'd go with a M35 ONLY if I desperately need more space.

But anyways, who do you work for? What company?

I'm just so darn jealous.

I'd do the base M35. I'm sure it still has lot's of amenities. Power seats/windows, cruize, nice stereo and more space.

Man, I haven't had a company car in 15 years. Didn't know there were companies still doing that with everyone being so cheap these days. Where do you work? Hook a brotha up!

i have a base g35s and personally i don't regret not getting any options. the infiniti line comes with great options already. you get leather, power everything, the ENGINE!, lcd screen to monitor songs, ipod hookup...what else do you need? is it worth 7-8 extra grand for stuff like 2 extra speakers, sunroof, navi, and heated seats? that's luxury i don't need especially since i live in the south and i know everywhere i'm going, and if i don't just mapquest the destination.

WEll being i have the current G35 and love it, id say for the money, its deff the best option for under 40K, BUT heres a option, since you must be gettin rid of your current G35 , why dont you put the money you will get for it along with the money they are giving you and get a M45. That would be my suggestion. M45 is awesome, but if thats not possible, id go for the G35X or Sport tapped with navi, tech packages. Navigation is the bomb along with the music box, and i got my Sirius unit up on the window, agreed its much better then XM.

my personal rule of thumb is to always buy the best you can afford. For me that would be the loaded G. However, you should look to see if the base M comes with all the same stuff the loaded G has, then decide on which car you like best if the M does match the loaded G.

personally I'd go the loaded G...well, I DID actually do that.
