I am thinking of trading in my G for either a 335I coupe or a CLK 550. I am happy with the G but the problem is that it is almost an ever ending project, always wanting something new. So the question would you guys trade urs for one of the above?

If you have the itch you might as well get something better then the ones you listed...Those cars are not much higher then the G maybe a little in performance and $$...

For those cars no I wouldn't I would rather keep the G.But thats just me good luck with your choice.

I would get a 335 without the intention to stop the itch. Because the 335 is more popular now a lot of diff mods will come out for it if they havent already.

If you wanna prevent the mod bug a little more get the 550 but Im not a fan of that car soo its up to you buddy

The difference is, the G isn't a mod friendly car. The 3 series responds a lot better to mods then the. Lets not forget the G is overweight.

Isn't a CLK 550 quite a bit more expensive than an 335i? Why not just go all the way up to new M3 then?

if thats the case I would do that. But you know your gonna mod the help out of it

the CLK will be replaced within the next two years, so i don't know if you want a car on it's way out, and the 335 has some good mods out for it so might be spending money on that. Get a vette if you want a car that's fast enough that you won't want to mod it, or get a sedan like the M of 5 series, not many mods out for that, plus it's a sedan, so you might not even get the itch
