Buying a 2008 Honda Civic LX

I'm buying a 2008 Honda Civic LX for my mom for about $15,000 all shes going to use the car for is work and grocery shopping and church and just to go to other family members houses, you guys think its a good car for her i looked at every other car and no other one comes close to the styling or price range of the civic.....

Trading in a 1999 Ford Windstar Lx.

They are a great little car if you ask me and will be good choice for your mom for a daily driver. If I was in the market for that type of car, it would be either a Civic or a Mazda3.

It is a very good daily car since it's so smooth to drive... (at least feels like it). It's also very economical and "GREEN".

For alternative, you may consider the Toyota Yaris. They're also quite nice.

civic is probably one of the best, if not the best choice in all aspects as an economical daily driver, grocery getter.

yea thanks guys def, going to go with the civic i showed her the mazda 3 i liked it she said it looked weird so civic it is going to the dealer tusday.

can you get a LX for only $15k? mine is a EX sedan and was just shy of
$19K. it's a great car for daily tasks. it's fairly roomy inside, comfy ride,
super ergonomics (telescoping steering wheel, exceptionally comfy seats).

can't go wrong especially if you can find one for only $15k!

it's actually kinda fun to drive even though mine's a AT.

cousin has a 07 civic EX sedan with navi, i was surprised how roomy they were on the inside.... smooth ride too

07 had some axles issues.


Can't remember exactly what it was from top of my head, but look into if problem have been solved on 08 models.

going to pick up an 2008 Civic Lx tomorrow, we went to like 5 diffrent dealers and my mom likes the civic the best so yea should be an awesome car for her like you guys say.

Maz3 sedan is junk compared to the new civic sedans. Maz3's are
obsolete design inside and out...especially the sedans. not to
mention that 1980's karaoke machine LED light things on the stereo. lol!!!

yea we picked one up at our local dealer 2008 Civic Lx, my mom loves it, it came with gap insurance and a free turkey, lol so yea this car buying experience was very pleasurable.
