It was taken in Marina Del Rey, near Rhythm & Hues Studios where I used to work. I recognize the parking lot! I even did satellite search and it matched the building! I believe it's the parking lot of the Chiat Day Office.

Sweeet! How the heck did they get not one but TWO GT-Rs

I was at the LA Auto Show today and took tons of pix of the GTR! It was freakin' sweet! I'll post those up in a day or so... took about 700 pix! 70 pix of the GTR alone.

I even asked if they could pop the hood, but they said they couldn't and gave me some lame excuse.... It was awesome either way!

It doesn't go on sale until June 2008 and they are taking pre-orders in January. They definitly have connections I'm guessing....

This was taken from another forum, here's what one person said who was at the event. I'm guessing Nissan just brought it there to show.... but that would be just my guess....

"It was a really nice event though, and I was told by the Nissan Product Planner why it was planned in the first place..."We put this event together as a GT-R owners appreciation day to give something back to all the enthusiasts who have put so much into their own GT-Rs".

Great Find OP, made my monday a little sweeter for sure.

I have to say I was not feeling too happy about the red in the other photos so far released, the indoor shots. It was not showing well in the lighting or the photography, but these out in bright day light give it all new life. This is THE color to have, now all i have to do is find a spare $80k lying around and convince the wife this is the place to spend it!

Hmmmmm, ok, i will have to lease it. But at least i now know what color to choose, now if they only tell us about the MT option!
