Re: picking up a secondary car..please help!!!

You might be able to find an early 90-93 Miata in decent shape in that price range. Old Civics and Accords seem to run forever, and are plenty peppy, along with a healthy aftermarket.

You could pick up an old compact pickup in that range, too. May not be as interesting to drive, but there's plenty of utility there.

get a pickup, it's so useful and will come in handy when you buy parts for your G35

dude a MR2 is not going to be a pratical daily driver, what if you gotta pick something up, then you gotta take the G that is bigger and even then it's not big.

How about a used Integra? I've been contemplating getting a 95 Integra from a friend as my mess-around/beater car. Probably not going to do that now since I've sunk a bunch of money into my bike. Still, I thought the Integra would have been a great secondary car.

Re: picking up a secondary car..please help!!!

yea... there really isn to much space in a mr-2 when u think about it... but my parents own a bunch of trucks. my dad has a 01 silverado, a 01 escalade, and a 96 explorer, which i could use any at any point...so im not to worried on picking things up. but the practicality is not there, if thats what ur talking about. but i was thinking about an integra, but i cant seem to find any under the 3000$ mark...i rather put the money into the car then buy a more expensive one right now. any suggestions of were i can find one. any other ideas?

Re: picking up a secondary car..please help!!!

I'd get an EG Civic hatch or coupe 92-95. Fun lil car and handles really well on the track. It may actually end up being ur project car over the G35.

Re: picking up a secondary car..please help!!!

The car codes are from Japan.

EF = Civic hatch 1980something - 1991
EG = Civic hatch 1992 - 1995
EK = Civic hatch 1996 - 2000
EP = Civic hatch 2002 - current

Coupes and sedans have different body codes.
