M3...S4....any of the AMG Benz cars...545i....and if a car is stick its all up to the driver.....no matter how fast the car is....i would say our G35s are in the top 10% of the fastest cars available in the US...if that makes any sense....haha

G will not easily walk if at all a GS400, especially up high. Auto G will see taillights to a GS400, manual good run. have witnessed a GS400 taking an auto G with ease.

In reply to: An auto G35? perhaps. A 6MT? No. The GS430 does 0-60 in 5.8 secs, and quarter mile at 14.3 secs. Its 300hp, but weighs a whopping 3,715 lbs. That's fair game for a G35. And that is the newer 430 model. The GS400 is even slower with only 280hp and the same weight. A G35 would have no problem with a GS400, but a GS430 would be close race. 2003 G35C, 6MT, DG/G, Aero/Nav/Premium 2002 Corvette Z06, Electron Blue/Black, headers, intake, exhaust, 380 rwhp

The Boxster S is faster than the G35c, mainly due to a big weight difference (over 500 lbs). Those are 13 s 1/4 mile cars (13.7-13.8 in mags, probably some owners have done better).
Oh, & the BMW 645Ci is faster than the G35c too. Even w/ auto, it's a 13 s 1/4 mile car (about same times as Boxster S manual). The Z4 3.0i is actually slightly faster than the G35c w/ equal drivers, but it's such a small difference that it's really a drivers' race.

you are by far an ignorant person. Beating 330s easily??? they have respectable 0-60 numbers and if ur only talking about straight road drag racing....then props to ur car for beating 330s...but with twists and turns?(stock cars) 330s and the G are comparable. If you are talking about beaing 330s automatic cars...then I guess you are correct, but easily beating MT/SMG stock 330s or 330iZHP??Le'ts be honest here.

0-60 5.9 seconds significantly less HP than a G35 coupe yet still be able to hang with it. Like I said, it all depends on the driver.

That is BMW's conservative estimate. Every magazine test has gotten better times. In general, w/ equal drivers, the G35 is faster but the difference isn't huge.
You have to consider not only weight, but also drivetrain efficiency, powerband, gearing, etc.
