Cars the G won't beat

Hey all, I was just wondering what cars our G35 won't beat. I don't want to embarrass myself or the name of our ride by getting blown away by somebody I dont have any business racing...Any suggestions? TL? S2000? GTO? Porche Boxter? etc??

there a select few cars that the g cant beat..other than the obvious, more expensive vehicles. the g is faster than the tl, and the porsche boxster, the porsche boxster S is more of a challenge but still beatable. as far as the s2000 goes, that car is rated faster, but it has been beaten. u have to get out there and find out buddy.... do the research...later

The Cobra will hurt your feelings.

The GT Mustang is rated faster and I wouldn't mess with it off the line; but, it is beatable over 35 mph.

All LS1 cars will win. The Vette, Z28, Trans Am, etc

A turbocharged Eclipse beat me the otherday, but not by much.

If a Civic can beat you he spent ALOT of money and just should have bought a different car.

Watch out for those pesky EVO's, they are faster than you might think. Beatable with few mods.

Miatas. No problem.

BMW's--- All are beatable except the new M3. Stay clear unless you like to look silly.

Audi TT and A4--- Beatable. A4's do get modded a lot.

Pick on Lexus--- just for fun.

Just adding a few more to the list. None of this applies if the car is heavily modified. But I did take into account the probability of a rice-burner exhaust and a K&N drop in.

Uhm, I don't think so. the 540s will probably take an unmod G and so will the M5s since '98.

As to Lexus, it'll be very close with a GS400 or GS430. Take my word for it, and the word of others who own one.

my dad has a 2004 Yamaha R-1 that goes 104mph in first gear. we met some guy with a porsche with a license plate:0260N4. we should have:0260N2. he still loves wailing on the G35 and Evo though, but cars don't impress him as far as acceleration. that bike is off limits to me.

And I'd say the 330i's with the Performance Package will give you a good run for your money.

The new Lotus Elise should spank it, too, when they start arriving. (Not bad for a Celica motor.)

Remember, EVO and STI will hand your *** to you. Whoever said "beatable with a few mods" or whatever. I wanna know what those mods are .. besides F/I.

350Z. Which is drivers' race. I've heard the 6MT coupe Accord V6 can run with us?

I've taken an SL500. But had an SL55 dominate me as well. CLK500, E500 I think. The smaller engine models probably can't run with G but the AMG versions can prolly run them.

Theres a lot of cars that beat a G in speed. It's not an hidden fact that the G isn't pure speed.

Sorry dude, your "hang with" category has some contenders that would wipe a G's *** and belong in your "can't beat" category, i.e., Audi S4, CTS-V, 911 Carrera, Pontiac GTO, Nissan NSX. Maybe even a couple of others. If you take the time to read car reviews on any of these, the numbers are better than the Gs. I'm talking a stock G.

Even those cars are faster than G35 coupe, they are not dramatically faster, can not blow it away, that's why I put them in the "hang with" category. But the "can't beat" category is the list to show those pure sports or super car categories. And if you think NSX and Carrera are that fast, probably you have overestimated them. GTO may be a mistake, that is probably true. Someone should do a big contest to see. S4 and CTS-V are simply V8 sedan engine in a smaller sized sedan. They are still in the 5 second category 0-60, even at low 5's.
