Toyota RAV4

Thinking about picking one of these up as a daily driver. I drove one for a bit when my car was in the shop, and I really liked the way it drove and the interior. Looking for a 2006+ Sport or Limited in white. Plan on throwing some HIDs on it too.

Does anyone have comments, opinions, concerns?

With a V6 they are rockets.

Still about as masculine as a honda odyssey though......

My brother has one. V6 Sport 4WD. It's pretty sweet for the price and performance. It's too bad you can't get leather seats on the Sport model or the Sport kit on the Limited model. It's a great small SUV that we take to the beach. I'd only consider the V6 model though. It's ~100hp more than the 4 cylinder model but only 1mpg less fuel efficiency. It's hard to match for $26K.

I got a 09 Rav4 Sport V6 with 4WD as a loaner, since my Sienna is in service. Man what a great little package. Looks kind of cool, good mpg, 270hp, descent back seat room, excellent reliability ratings, and good for Michigan winters. Only complaints are the seats don't feel that comfortable, and it is FWD without the 4 lock on.

they are nice little SUVs. I find it rather sad though that the V6 RAV4 is one of Toyota's fastest cars behind the Camry today.

I am not sure what it is, but although the acceleration is quick....it is not much fun. Not sure if it is the FWD or that my 03 G35 makes beter sounds (IMO).

The V6 has balls. It surprised me. They have some with third row seats. Very rare though.

Two of my coworkers have them and love them. One is a good friend; we're always out together and it's a cumfy ride.

I've had one for years now and it's been one of the best cars to own, fun to drive (for what it is) surpisingly well put together at its pricepoint. I recommend them to anyone looking for a small SUV.
