Has anyone seen the Lexus IS-F yet?

I love my G but that IS-F looks like a bad *** ride, just going off of the videos on Lexus.com

There was one at the Washington Auto Show, and yes, it is pretty impressive.

I think a member on here actually drove one at an event Lexus sponsored for people to come out and drive some of their new cars... I can't remember who posted it.

IS-F is out now. Got to drive one at SEMA this year and at a Lexus sponsored event at Laguna Seca last year. Very nice...nothing like a V-8....

Whats a better buy. IS-F or the new Audi S5. I know the IS-F has more power, but honestly i dont care too much about 450 horses. Im fine with the 356 and then extra from my modding. Reason I ask is cuz i ordered one in automatic. S5 that is.

Both will be fairly rare for a while... Is the IS-F AWD? If not, huge advantage for the S5.

Also, since the S5's engine has been around for a while, there's already lots of stuff available for modding! Enjoy it, and post pics when you get it!

The IS-F looks way too tacky for my taste. Goofy bumper, cheesy fake exhaust tips...although that engine sounds absolutely sick at WOT.

If I had the money...I'd take the M3.....or wait to get the upcoming CTS-V...550hp/550 lb-ft plus suspension that adjusts itself every 1 millisecond...can't beat that.

i'm out in southern cali and i saw the IS-F two weeks ago. i talked to the guy for a while; he works for corporate lexus and in their product development. basically, he gets to test out all the products to look for kinks, etc. up close, it looked nice. the interior had nice "F" accents on the leather, carbon fiber everywhere. it was a black one so the car looked more subtle than that electric blue one they advertise. and the v-8 growl was impressive. but in all honesty, and tho i love my G, the europeans still are the leaders in styling. the S5, which i've also seen on the freeway, looks sleek and sexy. and audi still leads the competition in interior design all the way. my favorite audi would have to be the old RS4 avant that they never brought over to the states.

The IS-F is an interesting car. I got to view it at a Lexus event here in DC. The exhaust note is incredible and overall styling is not bad. A lot better than my first impression by seeing the pics online. If you're not in a rush to pick up a ride right now, I'd wait to see what the new E90 M3 sedan looks like if you're looking for a 4 door car. It should be priced similar to the IS-F. If a coupe is more to your liking, it's hard to go wrong with an S5. Styling and power is there and personally, it's one of the few performance coupes available right now that turns heads at that price point.
