Dealers will still have a mark-up.
Mark-up's are 100% profit for them, and if people are willing to pay the extra 5-20k for the car, then they will keep the mark-ups.

Yeah I can't justify liquidating all my investments just for a car... but the GTR is tempting!
And I'm sure there will still be markup, it just won't be as outrageous as some people feared.

Depending on the dealer, I would guess 15 to 30k markup when all is said and done.

The couple dealers in my area are taking bids only. One of them has a current bid of over $140k for the one they are getting.

the more i hear about this crap, the more i'm realizing, that i've got a great dealership. they even sent me the fold out poster/pamphlet with the ext/int colors. they are taking pride in their efforts to keep us happy.
