the outside is blah, especially the grille. How can a company that can produce an interior like that fail miserably on the exterior.

For some reason, the original link that I posted from C&D is no longer valid. Here is the updated LINKY with pics.

They butchered the redesign IMO. The current model looks fantastic, why did they go backwards????

Always been a staid-looking car. Maybe it's their market: keep it low-key and don't attract any attention.

either a v8, v10, or a serious v6/hybrid (maybe turbo) is going into the new nsx (or whatever it is going to be called). why not use the new models that get released before 2010 as r&d?

Definitely not my cup of tea.......and

" We would be remiss if we didn’t note this is a luxury flagship without a V-8"

A ride in this class should at least have that option.....

don't really agree with this... the gt-r doesn't have a v8 to make 500hp from the factory...

honda is extremely capable of making a decent v6 (maybe hybrid), that could put out over 300hp, and people who want luxury don't always care about performance. and a v6 could offer less weight and equate to better balance and stopping (safety) distance.

He said option. I completely agree with Msedanman. A "flagship" model, although its hard to consider this car a flagship car, should have atleast an option for a V8 (or atleast a V6 TT). It doesn't have to be a standard engine...

noted... but i believe that is american logic (maybe even a little flawed).

what does that mean - v8? more power? if that's the case, what is wrong with a beefed up v6?

i just don't want to confuse v8 with a desired hp range.

i don't think the two are always related.

the v6 in a 2000 ford taurus would've given you 150hp. i could see a need for a 250hp v8 (2003 lincoln ls).

but when nissan is spitting out a 330hp 3.7 v6, this changes the intent.

i'm just curious why v8, and not a hp number? or was the hp number an implication of the v8?

not trying to poke holes, just curious as to what attracts other people to hondas (my mother, brother, and sister all drive them).
