shock question
Ok, i think this might be the right section to post this.
I have a 98 camry lx v6. When i drive over bumps on the freeway the car would bounce up and down, probably like an oscillation motion and when the bumps are over, the car seems to settle back. I think this could be the shocks that is causing the problem. So do you guys think that the shock has problems or the springs? How can you tell when the shock has problem and how can you tell if the spring has problems? Thanks |

i would say its the shocks, springs start to lose their "spring" after about 120k in my experiences. if the bump is being absorbed but it takes awhile to settle back down then the shock is not dampening the up and down momentium.
