350Z v G35 blah blah blah

For the love of Pete and his brother Oswaldo, can we let the 350Z v G35 debate go already? All three are rides that serve a specific purpose, and while it isn't apples and oranges, it's definitely Absolut and Grey Goose...Can't the Infiniti owners just shake their heads bemusedly and leave it at that? How are you any different than the Z driver that posted his dislike for the G35 when you make blanket statements such as "overall a better car", "much better bargain", and/or "same performance"? I know guys that bought their 350 because they love the Z car heritage, so "bargain" be damned, just as there are people who sat in the Z and then the G and knew right then that the Infiniti was the better choice for for them in their personal situation...Who gives a rat's *** whether some 350Z owner doesn't care for the G35C? In my opinion the Z is a better ride than the G35C for the simple fact that a sports car, to me, does not have a rear seat...Yeah, I said it and I couldn't care less who finds that offensive here, because it's all opinion and it's that simple...I still absolutely love the the G35 and I think the Coupe looks better than the Z, however looks are subjective...As far as the sedan goes, G35S owners may dislike the Z and vice versa, but the 350 and Sedan are two different animals and two purchases made for several different reasons...So what? Honda guys hate Mustangs, RX-7 drivers many times dislike Supra and 300ZX/350Z owners, Audi owners hate Benz drivers, and everyone hates M3 owners...This 350Z v G35 debate/hatred is the same crap, only this time it's "in the family"...Let the Z owners dislike the G35, and let the Infiniti drivers bag on the 350Z...Who cares? If the reason someone buys a ride is to get the feeling that they are superior to others then they're a weak little loser anyway- in the end it's just a damn car

P.S. I also share the same opinion about the whole 350z and G35. I mean...is it really necessary? it's like saying those green apples taste better than the red ones. (bad example? heh)

Personally I try to give a thumbs up whenever I see a G or a Z on the road and I tend to get one back. Believe it or not more from the Z's than the G's so go figure.

I'm thinking of trading my G for a Daewoo. I just can't stand the "the coupe is better than the sedan, or Z is better than the G" debate anymore.

I agree. I don't think one is better than the other overall. They each do different things slightly better or worse. Depends on what your preferences/needs are.

My uncle has a 350Z in the exact same color as my G35C. We've both driven each other's cars, and ridden in each many times. We both like each other's cars, but don't regret buying what we did, and wouldn't trade even if we could. My uncle came from a '91 300ZX, and wanted another Z, and a sports car. I already had a 2-seat sports car, and wanted a luxury GT for my daily driver.

I also have a problem with people trying to compare the Altima to the G35 or the Maxima or a VQ car to another. Just bothers me to see people do that. But what u said was well said.
