Our new pickup truck. 2008 Silverado VortecMax.

Well, same day we got my new G, dad traded off our 2000 Silverado on an 08 Vortec Max 370hp 6.0 V8. Thing has some BALLS. And drives REALLY smooth.

it guess it's the fake wood... they coulda used a washi-aluminum like on the new G's and that would have looked sweet

The wood looks better in person. The interior makes you feel like your in a car and the seats are really comfortable.

Turbotom: We didnt go for the 4 door because my dad decided he wanted the bigger bed to add a fifth wheel, and we could fit our dirtbikes in or the 4 wheeler.. hence why he didnt opt for a denali.

Right now, with 200miles, and my somewhat heavy foot and addicted to 370hp, we are getting around 12.7mpg... LOL

Even though I am not a chevy fan, I think this truck looks alright.

Take off that ugly 4x4 sticker, though. Also, if you are gonna tow anything I would suggest different mirrors. Had a Suburban 3500 souped up for towing, but hated the horizontal mirrors for towing. I prefer the vertical mirrors on the Fords.

Yea, thats one thing i like about the Fords. That and the electronic trailer breaking that GM is being gay about making standard (its an option now on the 07s and 08s)

And i dont want to tackle taking off any more stickers. Took off the dealer sticker, and that was enough. To afraid to scratch it. Its only a week old.

It's a truck, they were never intended to be pretty. My tacoma still has paper plates and it already has a 5 inch thich scratch under passenger door, and a 1.5 foot long scratch on the driver side from a Hi-lift jack.

Go beat it up!

Sorry Janik, just not a fan of it at all......inside or out. But hey, as long as your Dad likes it, that is all that matters.
