Iono I figured you would just choose one.
I currently have g35 6mt. I would have to get manual either way on the next car I choose. (I love manual) I figured I would go with the m3 prolly cost me around 30k then keep it close to stock. Maybe strap on Supercharger eventually. If I got the rx7 I would probably mod the **** out of it. Get a cheap rebuilt one and do my own mods. Maybe 3 rotor Single Turbo haha. Veilside kit? haha If I decide to keep the G I'm wanting to go TT. But Yah I was thinking what you guys would do. |

Hmm. Lots of people chose the E46m3
Can I get feedback from those who chose this? Anyone go from G35 to m3 or m3 to g35 and have any feedback? |

Let me preface this by saying that the G is a very, very nice car. Well built, plenty of power on tap, very good handling, looks, luxury, and a price tag that makes any perceived shortcomings a little less noticeable. I say perceived because, let's be real, on a day to day basis for commuting the G is just as capable as the M or any other BMW. HOWEVER, IMO for a total driving experience it just does not compare to an E46 M3. 333 hp, 265 lb-ft with a curve that's more like a pancake than an actual torque curve, 50/50 weight balance, handling and acceleration that outperforms many more powerful and more expensive cars, great looks, the most linear throttle response I've ever experienced, and it is the only car that I've ever driven that felt like it was riding on glass at 140mph+. This car was engineered for the circuit, but also for the daily commute. In short, it is one of the most versatile yet completely fulfilling driving experiences that I have ever known, and I plan on being back in one by the end of this year. I would suggest that you take a test drive. It's hard to fully explain it with words, but once you feel it you will understand. |

I had an FD before. Fun as fcuk but high maintenance. If you're willing to deal with the hassles and niggles of turbo rotaries, go for it. The rewards are there so long as you're able to swallow the costs. It's by far the most driver oriented car of the three vehicles you've listed, but it'll also ask for the most in return in terms of upkeep than either the E46 M3 or the G35.
