Comparison Question

I'm looking at three cars, all sedans, a 05 BMW 330 with the Performance Package, 19,000 miles asking 26,000 (probably get for 24,500-25,000). And two 07 G35s one has sport and premium package 7,000 miles asking 29.9 the other has just premium package and all wheel drive and asking 28,991.

What are the pros and cons of each of these? I've always loved the e46 BMW but i've developed a new love for the 2nd gen G35 too.

You know what, I was the same way before I got my G. Yes, the E46 3 series is sexy as hell, but so is the G.

The G35 is newer than the 3 series and will give you less problems for sure. Besides, people come up to me all the time and say "wow, is that a g35, beautiful car"...and just hearing that from time to time is worth its weight in gold.

I dont think you can go wrong with either car, but I wouldnt trade my G for anything.

I would go for a G, not because I drive it, but for the warranty reasons. I wouldn't wanna drive a luxury car that has no or short warranty.

If the warranty wasn't an issue............ I would still go for a G for the same reason why I got the G last year.

I mean, it's all up to you. If you go to the BMW forum and ask the same exact question, I would guess that most of 'em will tell you to get the BMW and vice versa here.

Sorry, wasn't very helpful...

For the warranty ... get the G
Are you planning to keep long term... again, get the G

Short term fling, the BMW will hold it's value pretty well.
- one caution.... '05 & only 19K miles sounds like a garage queen.
Typically if you start putting miles on a garage queen you may start getting trouble.
I'd much rather have a car that's had 10-15k a year with no problems.
