Opinions? I personally think a bunch of little punk ricers are going to jump on this and slap huge wings on it. Not a bad move for Nissan though.

yeah, i kind of like it. i think it's a huge improvement compared to what altimas used to be and looked like. a friend of mine had a first generation altima and she hated it.

The body is changed a little they added a more Maxima esqu grill. My questions what is nissan thinking? The interior got a whole upgrade and the made it more 350Z meets Maxima esque. I think the 2005 model is going to take a part of Maxima's and even G35 sales. Come one for 29k you get a fully loaded Alitma SE or SL with 250hp, pretty nice leather, Maxima style gauges(and 350Z style in se-r) and a Maxima style dash and steering wheel.

The Altima SE-R is supposed to be at the NY Autoshow...Can't wait to check it out tomorrow! It's a nice looking car, especially the rims!

Nissan needs to pull their heads out of their A$$ and make a SE-R 240sx. BRING BACK THE 240!!! My god nothing but sedans in the Nissan world. THE ALTIMA IS A FREAKIN MID size family sedan and they are gonna slap and SE-R badge on it....stop RICING IT UP. ugh oh well... They just need to drop the sentra SE-R, news flash nissan se-r looks like poop! sorry had to vent, peace!

PS, the altima does look cool tho, just not to fond of the idea of it...

SE-R Altima looks exactly like any 2005 Nissan Altima except it comes with a rice style wing, and side body kit.
