How does the 04 e46 M3 compare to the 06 G35

I need advice on the both of the cars. I can get a 04 e46 loaded with every option for 28k with 48k miles and a loaded 06 G35 for 22k with 35k miles. Whats your honest opinion on both?

always been a fan of the E46. Warranty is up shortly which should cause some concern. Might still get the price on the E46 a bit lower. Post up the pics of bimmer if you get it.

I don't think a G can touch an M... The only concern is like ppl said, warranty is ending and if something goes wrong with a bimmer it's not the cheapest to fix.

The M class BMW is far superior than the G performance wise and IMO the interior is better quality but the design is kind of BLAH if you ask me. I love the body lines of both cars just my personal preference...But damn they are so Fvcking expensive to repair...My buddy tuned up hi 540I just coil packs and a few other things cost him $1000.00 and he got the parts from his work and tuned it himself...Best of luck with whatever you get

I honestly think the G is more stylish .....the M3 looks very identical to the rest of the 50000000 3 serious out there....plus when the new m3 Comes out you are going to be dominated ......

I owned a 2002 E46 M3 and currently own a 2007 G sedan. The M kills the G in every conceivable category. There is literally no contest. I moved over because I needed to downsize a bit (career move) and wanted something that was somewhat comparable as well as newer. However, if I did not have to get rid of the M3 I wouldn't even consider it, especially for a G35. Funnest car I've ever owned, even better than my chipped 2002 Audi B5 S4. As far as others that think the G looks better, that is definitely subjective but if you can't tell the difference between an M3 and a 330i then you need your eyesight checked.

I personally dont think so.....E46 is the best looking m3 imo....

if i can afford maintenance and modifications with m3, i would go with m3....
