Ericsson e92 M3 bodykit

Car is a repost, was a concept, the bodykit is on sale now though. It can be had for the cheap price of.........$25,000!

For sideskirts and bumpers.

Damn that is sick though, I'm not a fan of the new M3, but this completely changes it, looks so mean.

If they make a replica, that's gonna be my next car! Hopefully two years from now the certified 08s will be a good deal. e46 parts are still ridiculously expensive though, $1200 hoods, $700 intakes. Hopefully that's not a preview of what's to come.

The rear is hott. Everything else looks okay. Bumper looks like it sags a little due to that huge opening. Sides doesn't flow as well. CF parts are pricey but damn, that's steep. I'm sure most owners would paint it anyways so a reinforced fiberglass/PU/ABS option is more desirable if it's a fraction of the cost.

I'm pretty sure the bodykit itself (prices, the sole U.S. distributor) weren't posted before.

it's dry carbon. That's why it's expensive.

base price of m3 ~$60k + $25k.... that's a lot of money.

Dry carbon is made with heated and molded resin. A carbon cloth sheet pre-impregnated with the resin (not used in wet carbon production) is fitted to a mold and then heated under very high pressure.

The F-1 quality autoclaves and carbon steel molds necessary to endure the high temperatures and pressures involved in this process increase the cost of production, but the dry carbon process produces incredible strength with maximum weight reduction.
Due to its strength and low weight, dry carbon is used in everything from race cars to airplanes and even space shuttles.
