07 G35S vs 08 Nismo Z - TRACK RUN....

There's a kid locally who has a brand new nismo Z, and I'm trying to set up a grudge match with him. He's willing to run at the track against me, not in the 1/4 but the actual track. Given the kid can actually drive his car, what would most likely happen against my car (07 G35 sedan 6MT) and his (08 nismo Z)?

If it's a road race on a track, skill would likely play a big factor. I'd say it really depends on your driving ability. However, assuming 2 equal drivers, the Nismo Z would rape your G35S. The Z is a few hundred pounds lighter, has more rubber on the ground, larger brakes, and a suspension that is set up for track work.

OTOH, if you put Lewis Hamilton in your G35, he would easily smoke practically anyone in the Nismo Z.

you'll probably get beat but not by much. The biggest advantage is weight and suspension set up. Speed wise, its a wash. I've driven the Nismo Z, very hardcore. reminds me of my buddies' 03 BMW M3

Obviously, those M3's you "raped", their drivers couldnt drive to save their lives. An E46 M3 should EASILY walk an 07 G35 given equal conditions.

Better driver will win, Give me the nizmo Z and it will be over for a lot of cars.

True but 6 out of 7 M3 that i have raced have lost. 1 out of those 7 left me in dust. There is something about M3 drivers that make them very ****ty for some reason.

+1 Driver skill is the BIGGEST factor involved here.

However, given equal drivers, the NISMO should win, decisively.

IMO. I havn't actually done that before.

How many is "more than 4?" 5? 250?

It's better that he backed down, kids with limited skill + track + grudge match = tow trucks at the end of the day.

I'd agree though in a hypothetical battle with equal drivers the nismo z would kill .

Sorry but the G35 can't compare to the NISMO Z. It will kill your G on the track.
