Nissan GT-R - nothing new.

After reading and watching numerous glorious reports of the new 2009 Nissan GT-R, I stopped being surprised by it's Godzilla status. I was told by my Japanese friends that in history of the Nissan Skyline GT-R - breaking the mold and shocking performance is nothing new, it's the GT-R DNA.

Recent reviews of the GT-R reveals a lot of things that we find to be amazing in regards to the new GT-R. Many of us are shocked at the ridiculously fast Nur. laptime and Porsche/Ferrari beating handling.

The GTR's history is impressive. Which I think most folks in the US who have
driven muscle cars are just discovering exist.

newbie.

the r32 (in first trim) got a 13 sec 1/4 mile. this has always been a great performing car. i think now that it has become a reality to the usdm, it has been put in the forefront.

but you're right... this is just another gt-r.
