Whats you opinions? They look like a fun little car with lots of potential. Anyone have any experience with them? Do you guys know any forums for them, just so I can read up more about them.
Thanks guys!

3si.org...That is the main forum. I have been reading about those for YEARS. I wanted one a while back, but never got around to picking one up. They are rare to find, with low miles, and in good condition. They are BEASTS that can be modded to all hell. They are heavy, but nothing that mods cant fix. The big rivalry always sat with those and the supras. That is, until, fast and furious made supras go for 10x the value. There is many different things to look for in each year, but they can all be had for a decent price. It would be a great second car to have fun with modding. A couple known issues they have are with the transmission, the aero kits always get stuck and break, and the interior dash always seemed to be cracked, or peeling(the ones that i saw). I had a friend that had 2. He loved them both. For looks alone, i would go with a supra if i had the money. But for something to have fun with, i would def say go for the VR4. Hope that helps SOME.

3si

socal3s

1991-1993 is 300hp 5MT

1994-1999 is 320hp 6MT

They were slowly adding features until 1994, and then they started taking away features to keep the cost in line. 1994 replaced the popup headlights with projectors, and a new front body.

1995+ dont have the tuneable exhaust, 1996+ dont have ECS, 1997+ dont have Active Aero.

All models have AWD, and 4WAS.
