Good bye G35 and Hello Z.

Zo6 that is.

I finally did it. Sold my g35 coupe and bought a Corvette c6 Z06. All I can say is HOLY S!@T!!!!!! How can this be street legal.

I wanted more power out of my g and almost did the TT upgrade. After I added up all the cost and then wondering about the reliability, I started looking in another direction.

My G35 is a great car for the money. I enjoyed it very much. Never had a problem. Had fun modding it. Now time to move on.

i think you may regret it -- alot of people who have purchased the Z06 have ended up selling shortly after(i know of 2 people who have done so)... it's alot more than people bargain for, it is basically a track car and that isn't the most comfortable thing to be driving every day....

With that said - very nice regardless - Hope you enjoy it, they are fast and fun and sound mean as hell!!

Haha yeah the title had me fooled, too... I was like WHY THE F would you sell your G for a Z!?!?!? But then you added "06" to "Z" and it was all good

I have put over 2500 miles on her and nothing but smiles. Very comfy. I actually like the seats better than my g's seats. Not the quality but the feel. Couldn't be more happy about my change.

One more thing is I average 26.9 MPG. Average 22 in my G. I drive 135+ miles r/t a day. One day I drove super super gentle to work, early in the morning and got 33.1 mpg. NO BS. I had a guy at work who has a prius and he didnt believe me. He came out and witnessed it on the info center. It is accurate to .1 mpg , I checked it twice. Incredible car. How does GM get the mileage out of a 505hp V8.
