i can't believe that left the designer's desk. it's time for a reduction in the development department. everything on that thing is hideous.

It looks me. I was keeping an eye for the new 7 as a possible purchase but a bit disappointing. Maybe it will look better in person, but I'll probably go with the LS460 instead.

SNOOOOOOOOOOOZEFEST. Boooooooring. BMW couldn't figure out how to do "different" properly with the E65 so they decided to go "souless" instead with the F01.
I don't get it. BMWs flagship cars since the E3 New Six Sedan through the E38 were perfect blends of sport and luxury. Take the E32 and the E38 for example. They were agressive when outfitted with the right wheel/tire combo, yet conservative enough to not make you go "WTF is that?" in the way the early E65s did. I never thought the day would come when I'd say this, but the '05+ E65 is a better looking car than this thing. The '01-'04 car with its bangle azz is a complete and utter piece of s**t in the design department, but the '05 revamp hit most of the problem areas (specifically the rear) save for the obnoxiously unintuitive interior. i think it's nice and very conservative, i wouldn't mind driving that... But now a days people want bling bling and what not and if they put out money for something, they want to to be flashy and draw attention, which this car does not. It's kinda like the Acura RL, it's a nice car, with plenty of nice features, but people don't buy it b/c for the same price they can get a mercedes with less features but a big STAR in the grill....

i like it.... not wow or awesome but bmw does a pretty good job in keeping the elegant look imo

i think they lost the mean look of the current 7. doesnt look all that bad, just more curvy.

BMW really needs to modernize their dash designs, they have had the same overall design for far too long. And the rear monitors look aftermarket.
