GT-R pricing

I know the base price is pretty much 70G's but I was wondering if you folks that are buying them now are paying the MSRP or if Nissan is putting a large mark up.

Friend of mine says that "no GT-R has been sold for less that $100,000." Just wanted to see if this is true.

False. A number of nissan dealerships were idiots and signed contracts with customer's for just the base price, not anticipating the hype of the car a year before it got to the states. I've met two different guys in LA that bought theirs for less than 90k.

Wanna drive up to Raleigh when you get yours? I will pay for the gas if you give me a ride? What dealership will you be purchasing it from?

i'd be glad to go up to raliegh... i'm sure my brother-in-law would love to take it out for a spin as well.

i'm purchasing at the local fayetteville dealership - stewart nissan. their guys are going to the august training class, so i'm looking at late aug - early sept for pick-up.

conversely - i'd love to check out your '08 g.

I just got an email from Cornell Nissan in So. Cal. that said they have one on the dealer floor and they are taking offers over 100K for it. The highest offer will win in two weeks. What a joke... 50% markup.

it's worth what someone will pay for it. and not a dollar more.

i'm happy about that price... i should've bought 2, and sold one in cali for $90k.

all of this is going to do wonders for the resale value.

a dealer in CT said MSRP, nothing more, i could have signed it if i had the money about 2 months ago, he was up to 8 on the waiting list, fully refundable. so you wait, but you get msrp, good trade off, but i dont have 70k right now.
