fix a flat in my sister's corolla

RANDOM unrelated G stuff. So my sisters 05 corolla had a flat tire this morning and I used the product called "fix a flat" so she could get to work. when she got back in the afternoon, she still had not stopped by the mechanic's shop to get it fixed so i said i'd put alittle more air in so she could drive it again tomorrow because now it's just a small leak after i used "fix a flat." Anyway, i went outside with the air pump and realized that the "fix a flat" had sealed up the valve! so i could not put anymore air in, has this happened to anyone else before? I'm emailing "fix a flat" customer service now.

no reason to email them. the product is supposed to be a temporary repair. the valve probably had a leak and the fix-a-flat worked itself into the stem. whatever shop that does the repair is supposed to dismount the tire anyway to remove all the fix-a-flat, it is corrosive and may eventually damage the tire. while the tire is off, they'll replace the valve stem. its a $2 part.

Fix a flat sux.

Please don't do that to your wheels.

The only time I'd consider using it is if I didn't have a spare tire, and I had a flat in the middle of the night in West Virginia, and the only pants I had were assless chaps.
